The film is being directed by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, from a screenplay by Eric Heisserer and will be produced by Walter Hamada, Dave Neustadter, and Barbara Muschietti. The film is a sequel to the 2016 film Suicide Squad and the ninth installment in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU).
