The 2023 film The Flash is an upcoming American superhero film based on the DC Comics character Barry Allen / Flash. The film is being directed by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, from a screenplay by Eric Heisserer and will be produced by Walter Hamada, Dave Neustadter, and Barbara Muschietti. The film is a sequel to the 2016 film Suicide Squad and the ninth installment in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU).
The film stars Ezra Miller as Barry Allen / Flash, with Ben Affleck, Michael Keaton, and Sasha Calle also confirmed to reprise their respective roles as Batman, the Joker, and Super girl from previous DCEU films.
