Unlike how it is with other major game developers, Rockstar prefer to do things as they please because they know that anything they produce will turn into goal. This basically explains why Rockstar was able to go several years with having a new IP since they launched GTA 5.
GTA 5 became so huge that it balanced out Rockstar’s annual financial sheets despite not having another game launched in an entire year. But of course, the income generated by GTA 5 does not last forever thus explaining why Rockstar has moved on with the development of Red Dead Redemption 2.
The next Red Dead video game is expected to debut next year and it promises to be as big as GTA 5. However, Red Dead Redemption 2 may not be the only game in the works as a leak has proved that Bully 2 is also being developed by Rockstar.
Bully 2, like the original Bully game, will have a small-scale setup hence giving Rockstar the ability to develop the game alongside Red Dead Redemption 2. If the leak is for real, then we are expecting Bully 2 to come out in 2019 or 2020 to put the greens on Rockstar’s annual report.
We simply can’t think of an individual that has the skills and free time to develop the pre-production sketches as a hoax hence there is a high chance for Bully 2 to be a real work-in-progress.
Having Bully 2 will also make sense as it can serve as a backup for Rockstar should Red Dead Redemption 2 misses its financial goals. What do you think?
