Bungie is promising changes to how many of Destiny 2’s systems work. At this point in time, it’s fair to say that there are a lot of players who are unhappy with the shooter’s endgame content, and that negativity has been exasperated by the fact that Curse of Osiris is looking a bit underwhelming.
However, as is usually the case with a new expansion, the developer will be launching a big update alongside it. Game director Luke Smith says that we can expect “economy updates (vendors & acquiring their gear, tokens, legendary shards), investment updates (new reward systems for weapons & armor) gameplay updates, and more.”
The studio plans on sharing details at some point this week — possibly during its next livestream, which is scheduled for the 29th November. Here’s hoping that the upcoming patch addresses the issues that players have with the game in its current form.
