Porto beat Leipzig 3-1 in Champions League

LISBON, Nov. 2 (Xinhua) — Porto smashed Leipzig for a 3-1 win in the Champions League on Wednesday, climbing to the second place in their group.

Porto’s Hector Herrea put the Portuguese ahead in 13 minutes of the first half, before Leipzig equalised by Timo Werner just after half-time.

Danilo scored later in the second half and Maxi Pereira sealed the win by a injury-time goal.

Porto collected six points after this victory, and climbed to second place of Group G, four points adrift of Besiktas after four games.
